“Peak Performance Dance and Fitness stages the 5th annual Philippine Belly Dance Festival, BELLYFEST 2011, on June 25, 2011 at the AFP Theater, a summer-ender dance concert and middle-eastern exhibition featuring some of the top belly dance performers from all over the country.

This annual event brings together talents from Manila and other regions such as Bicol, Bacolod and Batangas who will perform a variety of bellydance styles in one day of music, dance and beauty. The show will be headlined by seasoned bellydancers Jill Ngo, Gemma Magtibay, Nilda Boquiren, Crystal Calinawan, Sundee Vinas and the mesmerizing “Goddesses of Bellydance”, a sisterhood of the hottest, fast-rising bellydancers in the country. The highlight of the event is multi-awarded International Bellydancer Alisha Lee who will perform during the Grand Evening Show and teach a series of mini-workshops on the festival day and extensive workshops the following day.

The Arabian Market

From 1pm to 6pm, guests will enjoy an exhilarating afternoon at the Arabian Market a Middle East themed bazaar featuring music, food, clothing, accessories, art and a variety of free workshops and performances for the guests. You can choose to relax and view the unique wares on sale, watch the pocket performances throughout the afternoon or join in the belly dance workshops in the market area.

The Grand Evening Show

The day's activities are capped off by the spellbinding Grand Evening Show: a mix of theatrical dance, fantastic stories and a variety bellydance styles. This year's show features Fierce Tales, a unique take on beloved classic fairytales which have been spun around, twisted and given a hearty dash of woman power. Watch as damsels in distress transform into ladies of strength and beauty. The show also brings together the most talented bellydance groups from all over the country together with International Bellydancer, Ms. Alisha Lee.”

Join the Peak Performance Dance Studio and Fitness Stages in celebrating the beauty and grace of Bellydancing. The night will truly be an unforgettable glamorous experience for everyone. "The Lasallian Schools Press Conference (LSPCon) is an annual event that gathers all student journalists from the member schools of De La Salle Philippines for seminars and workshops that focus more on fields of specialization in journalism like science reporting, investigative journalism, gender-sensitive journalism, etc. It is organized by the ALCJA along with a host school chosen from the member schools.

This year, LSPCon will be held at De La Salle University in Manila. This event coincides with the celebration of the 100 years of Lasallian presence in the Philippines.

Hundreds of Lasallian campus journalists representing the 16 Lasallian institutions from Luzon to Mindanao are expected to attend this big event."

De La Salle University Manila invited Pixel Pro as one of the co-sponsors of Panasonic Philippines for this event. I will personally be going to this event, but maybe, only on the first day. I'm gonna be busy on the next days as I have another event on Friday, a family reunion on Sat and a Pacquiao fight to watch on Sunday (LOL).

Oh and no questions about other cameras okay? Panasonic is the sponsor here. I'm only allowed to talk about Panasonic. Hehe. :P

Anyway, to all my Lasallian readers, see you tomorrow! :)
